My parents are concerned for my safety, but I don't want to be bored.
Parents will always be concerned for your safety, Alan’s son is 30 years old, and I can assure you he is still concerned about his safety. We put a lot in place to protect you from harm, including, dual controls and regular breaks. This is why we only do a maximum of 6 hours tuition in a day.
How do intensive driving courses work?
Alan our senior Instructor was trained to carryout intensive driving course with the Ministry of Defence, and he still uses some of that training today. You will learn the same basic skills that you would on weekly lessons. The difference is very important. Because we are not tied to one, one and a half hour training program a week, the repetition is increased and training is not lost, which means less time needed to go back over previous training.
Do I have to use my parents car, or does the school provide one?
We provide a fully insured training car with dual controls, for lessons and the driving test. You must reach a safe level of driving, before we allow you to use our training car for driving test purposes. You can however use your own car for the driving test. Training though, must be conducted in our dual controlled car, for safety reasons.
Do I have to pay for the driving course when booking?
No, you will need to pay a deposit of £100.00 to secure your driving course. The rest of the driving course costs can be paid closer to the start of your course. No later than the evening prior to the first lesson.
